When you were six:
Did you think it was possible to draw monsters all day for a living?
Did you wish you could marry a prince or princess and live happily ever after?
Did you want to become the Prime Minister?
Did you long to hunt zombies?
Did you want to own a million animals?
I wanted to draw all day long and write children’s story books. Robert Louis Stevenson’s book A Child’s Garden of Verses was one of my favourite things. So was my witch on elastic that flew on her broomstick from one side of my bedroom to the other. Oh, and then there was Charlie my adorable toy chimp. I also remember wanting to be a nurse, a teacher, a policeman and a fashion designer.
How close are you to living the fairytale life you may have imagined for yourself at six?
What were your dreams? I would love to know.
That’s so cool, Leanne! I’d love to illustrate and write! I can relate to the zombie part, too. π
